Biomedical Nanoparticles

Nanomaterials for biomedical applications is today one of the most intensively studied research field. Materials for diagnostics, tissue engineering, or therapeutics are investigated. Although promising results have been obtained, the translation of such systems into clinics remains rare.

At the Particle Technology Laboratory we utilize extremely versatile flame aerosol technology to prepare novel highly efficient nanoparticle systems of various compositions and morphologies in a scalable fashion, which allows their fast translation into clinical practice.
